Privacy policy

• To fulfil an order: your name, mobile number, email and delivery address. We need these to deliver, to send your receipt and tracking, and to contact you about the order.
• To take payment: Razorpay collects your payment details directly. We receive only a payment reference, the method (for example UPI or card) and the last digits of a card — never the card number.
• When you write to us: whatever you send through the contact form, WhatsApp, email or a review.
• When you browse: anonymous usage data (pages viewed, device type, approximate location from your IP address, the link that brought you here). This is measured through Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and our own first-party counters. It is not tied to your name.
• If you use a discount code or partner link: the code and the order it was used on, so the partner can be credited.

We use a small number of cookies: one to remember your cart and checkout details on your own device, one anonymous identifier so we can count visits without knowing who you are, one that remembers a partner link for 30 days, and the analytics cookies set by Google and Microsoft. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; the cart will simply forget itself.

Only the services needed to run the shop, and only what each needs:

• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Courier partners — your name, address and phone number, to deliver.
• Email provider — to send your receipt.
• Supabase and Vercel — where the site and its order records are hosted.
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — anonymous usage measurement.

We never sell your details, and we do not send marketing unless you have signed up to the newsletter (which you can leave at any time).

Order records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires (currently 8 years). Messages and enquiries are kept while they are useful for answering you. Analytics data is retained by the providers under their own schedules.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Write to faaroglobal@gmail.com — a person reads it, and we reply within a reasonable time. You can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

The shop is for adults. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.
